Another great tip to customise a catchy Facebook profile for yourself is to display what readers have to say about you in your profile page. Sounds funny right? But majority of profile readers love to know what’s others’ opinions on you before they make friends with you or if they love to know more about you.

Just like Friendster, now you can let your friends write comments or testimonials for you in Facebook profile too (except that they don’t allow you to delete your testimonial easily). Simply add this Facebook application called “Testimonial” developed by Chainn.

You can import stories or updates from services like Flickr, Digg, Picasa, Yelp, del.icio.us, YouTube, StumbleUpon, Hulu, Pandora, Last.fm, Blog/RSS and Google Reader into your Facebook mini-feed.

You can connect your Facebook profile to the above services easily using the “Import” link at the corner of your Mini-Feed. Your Facebook profile will then be able to synchronize with the latest changes of any of the services you linked.

A few examples would be, let’s say if you uploaded a video into You-Tube, or you wrote an article in your blog, these would be published in your Facebook profile as well. How easy it is to share your stuff with your friends in Facebook now.

To protect your identity and allow you to access Facebook without being detected, a good reliable Facebook Proxy allows you to browse Facebook anonymously. To look for one, you need to take note of following points.

(1) It should be FREE. No credit card or confidential information should be required to use their service.

(2) It should not have annoying pop up advertisements.

How to check if you are accessing Facebook anonymously:

You may wonder what’s there to update if your life is repeating the same everyday. Well I am sure your friends would be more interested to know “how” you are doing rather than “what” you are doing. A short and simple Facebook status like “George is leading a peaceful life and resting at home right now” would mean a lot to them.

Well I do not consider myself popular among friends but I do have a “secret recipe” in customising my Facebook profile to get attention from people. However, do not overdo it by posting sentences like “Girls are the most pampered animals in the Universe” as it could easily annoy your lady friends or others. Many people love to display only 1 or 2 personal photos or cartoons in their Facebook profile. This will not make your profile look interesting and catchy at all.
